August 2010
- We finalise settlement of case in the Reading Employment Tribunal, under the ACAS conciliation procedure, for our Berkshire based client who had brought a claim for Unfair Dismissal against his former employer, a London based software developer, for substantial compensation.
- We reach settlement of case in Reading Employment Tribunal for client against a leading firm of retailers of for her unfair dismissal claim. Settlement is concluded by a Compromise Agreement, with our Oxford-based client receiving £15,000.
July 2010
- We act for an employee in his successful claim for Unfair Dismissal to London Employment Tribunal against his former employer, a logistics company. Compensation of approx £14,000 is agreed between the parties.
- We represent a Berkshire based employee in finalising settlement of his employment claims against his former employers, for a settlement of approx £5,500 under an agreement negotiated via ACAS shortly before the case was due to be heard.
June 2010

February 2010
- For dismissals from 1 February the maximum award for "normal" Unfair Dismissal reduces from £66,200 to £65,300 due to the drop in the RPI over the last 12 months...! The maximum "weekly pay" for basic award remains however at £380 per week.
January 2010
- We finalise settlement of our Oxford client's employment claim for Unfair and Wrongful Dismissal against his former employer, a local IT company, shortly before the hearing of his case at the Tribunal for £14,500.
- When disciplinary proceedings could ultimately lead to a termination of an employee’s career, it is highly likely that s/he should be entitled to legal representation at the disciplinary hearing. In a recent case of the Court of Appeal found that the employee in question was entitled to legal representation at a disciplinary hearing.
December 2009
- We conclude a Compromise Agreement settlement for our client's claim for Unfair Dismissal against his former employer, a London legal firm, in the sum of £23,000 shortly before the hearing of his case was due to commence .
